Croatia Juniors’ Boys Teams Join the ECNL Regional League

Croatia Juniors has been accepted to the Boys ECNL Regional League, one of the nation’s leading youth soccer development leagues. Competing within the ECNL platform provides greater ability to offer the right opportunities and meet players where they are and help them get to where they want to go. This announcement is a testament to the strength of Croatia Juniors SC’s players, teams, families, and coaches. The staff and directors of Croatia Juniors are grateful to all stakeholders for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to this community. Read below for a letter from Croatia Juniors Director Mario Grgic to the club’s families which details the specifics of the transition.

Croatia Juniors Family and Friends:

It is with pleasure that we announce Croatia Juniors’ entrance into the Boys ECNL Regional League beginning this upcoming 2024-25 season. Croatia Juniors SC was given an opportunity to enter this prestigious league and we have formally accepted the invitation.

Entrance in the league will ensure that our boys teams are competing at the highest level. Our goal in entering the ECNL Regional League is for our players to continue to be challenged in league games and tournaments while fostering their own personal growth. Our staff at Croatia Juniors believes that competing at the highest levels will maximize our players’ individual developmental ceilings.

Our 2011 and 2012 boys teams will begin ECNL-RL competition straight away this fall. Our high school boys teams will begin their competition in the ECNL-RL upon their return from their high school programs. Our younger teams will be playing a traditional GLA or CASA league schedule until they are age-group eligible to join the ECNL, and will be classified as “Pre-ECNL” teams.

While this news is very exciting, we recognize there will be many questions relative to your sons’ teams. We want to ensure you that this transition will be a smooth one and one that will be handled professionally relative to sharing of information.

Please direct any questions for Club Director Mario Grgic at mgrgic@croatiajuniors.com or Boys Coaching Director Zel Marusic at zmarusic@croatiajuniors.com. All teams impacted by this league change will hold individual preseason team meetings to review expectations and league schedules. We look forward to watch our kids grow and compete in this new platform beginning this fall!
